Our next Guild meeting will be held at Shawford Village Hall on Saturday 19th November 10am-4pm

During the morning there will be the opportunity to catch up with the ‘going's on’ with other Guild members as well as spin & chat, the library, any equipment returns , hires  & the ever popular show & tell.

Coral Newton will be running a workshop using inkle looms at 10:30 pre-booking necessary.

 

In the afternoon we welcome Joyce Meader, an ex Guild member who many of you will know.  Joyce will be talking to us about ‘The History of knitting’.

 

SALES TABLE - ( all items to be fibre related please )

We are still holding a lot goods for the sales table, please see Nadine before leaving any  donations you may have. Please do not be disappointed if she tells you we cannot accept any further items for the time being. It’s all about the space.  If you have fibre related goods to sell giving 10% to guild & if they are not sold you take them home with you, again see Nadine or a committee member before leaving things at the sales table. Thank you.  

EQUIPMENT HIRE

If anyone wants to hire equipment please email Guild Secretary in advance.

Calling on cake makers to bring cake  please. All cake donations gratefully eaten 😋 

As before please be Covid Aware & take the necessary precautions to help protect yourself & other members.

‘Fit for a Queen’

 

In this Jubilee year the challenge will be to produce an item  ‘Fit for a Queen’ encompassing at least one of the core skills of the guild.

There are many ways in which these skills are used to the delight & wonder of us all.

 You are invited to use one or more 

to demonstrate the diversity they offer.
