Our speaker will be Libby Ashdown talking about the fascinating world of Passementerie with lots of beautiful examples. 

At the Christmas guild meeting we invite you to bring food to share around the Christmas table and in the afternoon there's an informal 'have a go at Passementerie workshop!'

WINTER WEAVING and ACTIVITY DAYS

Our next winter weaving day will be on Saturday 24th January 2026, 10am-4pm at Shawford Parish Hall. 

As usual it's open to any members who wish to come along with their looms, share what they are doing and get some hints and tips.     

The sales table 

The guild sales table is a treasure trove of very reasonable items for sale.

If selling an item the sales rules apply: please see Nadine or committee member before leaving any fibre related items you wish to put up for sale. Guild will deduct 10% of all sales for Guild funds. Any items not sold must be collected & taken home with you, as we have no room for storage.

Show and tell

Bring your lovely items and share with us as we are always pleased to see what you have been up to. It's always inspiring to see your creative items, with or without mistakes, things gone wrong, happy accidents - whatever! Share it with us…. and that includes you!! - the new weavers.

Library will be open

Equipment hire

If anyone wants to hire equipment please email Guild Secretary in advance. So we can be sure equipment required is on site. 

House keeping

Please bring  your own lunch.  Free coffee & tea will be available during the day.

Always an important notice 

Our guild days are so special, we look, we learn, we listen and we eat cake! 

All contributions are gratefully received and a big thank you for last month’s delights.
